DESCRIPTION: Bell's ProTint helmet shields ensure that you will never need to carry around a spare shield any longer. The ProTint shield operates similar to a pair of glasses outfitted with photochromatic lenses; In direct sunlight the ProTint shield darkens quickly and automatically, when taken out of direct sunlight the shield will automatically re-adjust to low light conditions.

 

Bell recommends stopping and allowing the shield to adjust or or opening the shield when initially entering low light areas as the shield cannot instantly adjust to low light conditions.
